Ella's First Sleepover

Sunday night Ella said she would like to sleep over at her great grandma’s. I was a little nervous. Only one other time has Ella ever said she wanted to sleep over somewhere else and she ended up coming home at bedtime. I was afraid that with all the people she might get a little nervous and want to come home and Wes wasn’t staying there so I wondered if I would get that call. I packed all her clothes and took them over and then the boys and I came home for bed. I guess I should have called to check on her but I didn’t. Never even thought about it. The call never came. I was up this morning with the boys and after breakfast we called to check on Ella. Uncle Micheal Said she was great. She slept in the living room on the air mattress with Jared and has already eaten eggs, toast and bacon for breakfast. Uncle Micheal put her on the phone. I asked if she missed me and her response was this, “No, I didn’t miss anybody because I am a big girl”. I was happy for her. Big thanks to Papa and Grandma for letting her stay at your house, Uncle Michael, Aunt Sherri, Jordan, Jared, Uncle Raymond, and Aunt V for taking such good care of her and Monika and Elizabeth for playing with her. She had such a wonderful time that she spent Monday night there too. My big girl!
