Saturday we hung around the house until Eric got home from work and then we went down to Mooresville to get some boating information and go bowling. I haven't been bowling in forever. If i had remembered how bad i was i wouldn't have wasted the money. How can i be so much better on the Wii? Anyway, the kids were SO SO SO excited. Ella just kept saying how this was her first time to go bowling. We get in and get all 7 pairs of shoes and get to our lanes. Jared rounds up the lightest balls he can find and sets up the kids lane and Eric get the other lane set up. This was tricky. Somebody has to help the kids so they don't hurt themselves or someone else, someone is bowling and someone is holding Ben. It was a shuffle the entire game. The kids had the rails up on their lane and they LOVED it. Ella perfected the granny shot and by the end of the night had gotten down to a one handed throw. Jack did really good at the squat and shove method and John was a squat and push. John fouled a lot. His little foot would slide over the line. The balls moved so slow. A few got stuck. :) We ate dinner and then the kids found some arcade games. Jared got the first strike and i think everyone had one by the end of the evening. I will have to say mine was like lighting striking. It only happened once. The kids would dance around to the music which was quite entertaining in itself. It was a great night. I can't wait to do it again.
* If you were wondering, Eric won. I figure he should. He is the only one who took a college course in bowling. :)
