Carowinds

Monday we took a trip to Carowinds, the amusement park on the North and South Carolina border. It was myself and all the kids. We arrived at about 10:30 to find the water section was closed. It would remain closed all week so we went ahead and entered the park. It was a smaller amusement park but was nice for the day. I guess it would have felt larger if we could have walked through the water section.It was so hot the water would have nice. Next time. Our first stop was in the Nickelodeon section. This was where most of the kiddie rides were located. Ella and Jack could ride almost all the rides, John was allowed on a few and Jordan and Jared accompanied them on most of them. Then the big roller coasters. Jordan and Jared rode one and then we broke for the bathroom and lunch. After lunch the kids rode through the Scooby Doo Haunted House and Jordan and Jared tried a couple of other roller coasters. They ended up on the front row of the Carolina Cobra. I was concerned because i had just watched one kid vomit when he exited the ride. They made it through. After another large roller coaster Jared's tummy couldn't take anymore so we went back to the kiddie rides to avoid any hurling. Around 4:30 we got to the car and came home. Another busy day full of fun. The little ones were great....and the big ones too.
