Yes, you read right. BOY! We could not be happier. He was beautiful. All the measurements were great. He was 5 ounces and his heart, head, spine and parts all looked good. I know that all of you thought it was going to be a girl. Sorry, the good Lord had other plans. :) All of you know that Ella was set on a girl. She was a little upset at first but seems to have gotten over it now. She will be as great a big sister to this baby as she is to Jack and John. We look forward to all the sporting events, face it, we will be able to have our own in the back yard with all the kids! We also look forward to seeing what all they can come up with when they are left in a room to play, what trouble they will get into together and all the fights i get to referee. :) Ella will still dress them up as princesses i am sure. And when the house full of boys becomes to much for Ella and i to handle we can escape together. Having three boys will make my life so much easier. When we split up to do boy and girl stuff i only have one, Eric has three! I guess that is what he gets for making boys. :) Now the question becomes what to name him? Eric is holding on to Buck, Colt, Cotton, Grover, Henry and James. We both like Benjamin and i still have Joe and Fraser on my list. Any suggestions?

I am submitting Benjamin Fraser Brackin for consideration: love it, love it love it! Please, please do not name him Buck or Cotton; what is up with that? Anyway, I am so excited to hear Whitney and baby boy are doing great and can't wait until next spring!!!!! Love to everyone! Aunt Kimmie
I like Kim's submission. Grover is a Sesame Street character, and Cotton is just stupid. I love Buck and Colt, though.....

Well I'm glad everone is doing good and glad you found out its a BOY! I'm disappointed(only for Ella) It would have been nice for her to have a sister..but as long as its healthy we'll take it. I don't like Cotton or Buck..Colt is good..but three J's would be good but something besides Joe..thats to ordinary for such a special child!!

So, congratulations! Wes tells me that you handled the excitement and Ella's brief disappointment like the rockstar mom that you are. I also loved Ella's gymnastics day. Emma Kate is majorly into cheerleading (I finally updated the blog!), but mentioned dance or gymnastics the other day, so we will see about that. Jack and John are adorable and EK mentioned that she really wanted to see Ella the other day. I need to work on that!

Hey Whit, Long time no see....I am partial to family names myself but since you have started the "J" theme, James Fraser Brackin is my vote. For the Business world he could use JF Brackin, & both initials are similar when he learns cursive writting! ;)
Another fact about three boys so close togther is recycle-able clothes! And when they get older...Watch out for the girl friends. LOL....I love the fact that your mom helps me keep up with you and Wes a few times each year. Next time y'all are this way, give us a call. You can come over and deposit the kids outside with mine. We have plenty of yard space, or inside for the Thomas the Tank adventure of a lifetime for the boys and all the dress up Ella can handle with Evann. Lvoe Ya', Amy
