Happy Easter!

Saturday we had an Easter egg hunt with the neighbors and I told Mom we would have Easter here, on Sunday, while we really planned on having Easter at her house. I think it saved her some stress. We drove down and surprised her at church. Took a few pictures, ate a wonderful lunch, dyed a few eggs and then hunted them. Wes and the kids played a killer game of battle tops while everyone else took a nap. :) It was a wonderful day celebrating the resurrection.

Grandpa must have said something important

It was an intense game. :)

MVES Art Exhibit

Back in April......Meadow View had their art exhibit. Since it was on a Thursday Eric couldn't make it so Wes rode along. We went, we saw, we left. ha.

SPRING BREAK 2011

Making smores was just one of the fun things we did during spring break. Here are a few (a lot) pictures.

We went to the beach ( a few times),

Played a little football,
Used a lot of sunscreen (this would be after i got a burn across my forehead)

Had a picnic, almost every day.

Saw some wildlife in the "wild". That little brown dot is the fin of a dolphin and i found a conch right off shore. Conch are really ugly and creepy and i got it. The things i do for the kids.

Watched some old Frenchie Canandians toss metal balls at a small wooden ball(also known as petanque, pronounced pa-tonk)

Swam and taught ben how to relax by the pool,

Visited the "fair"

Found our favorite ice cream joint, Sprinkles, and went there often.

Mastered cooking, eating and sleeping in the camper with 7 people,

Melissa and i spent too much time in the laundry room waiting on clothes (and making silly faces),

Eric and i even got a couple of date nights thanks to Melissa,

And finally, who goes on spring break and doesn't get a nipple ring....... :)

SMORES

After all of our birthday celebrations we got ready for our first trip down to Florida. SPRING BREAK! What is the best part about 3 adults and 4 kids living in a camper for a week? Smores, of course. Well, the beach, pool and warmer weather were definitely perks too.
