While i was off celebrating all things motherhood, everyone else took a trip to the Catawba Science Center over in Hickory. Mr. Mark, Mrs. Connie, Eric and all 4 kids spent a brief time trying to take it all in. I would give you all the details but the only thing the kids will tell me about is the shark that feels like rubber and when you put you finger in the tank he will suck on your finger. Ella was very happy that when she pulled her finger out it was not red. "There was no blood mommy, no blood." I was very happy that the kids came home with all their fingers. Eric said it was a very nice place but they only had two hours of time so we will be going back. They did run into Madelyn and Elijah, our old neighbours from Raleigh, and had a short playtime with them. Small world. It was a great day....i hear. :)

we had a marvelous time at the science center-could've stayed all day!! It was fasinating!! we got kinda nervous with Eric's driving, though!!! He needs to get on the Nascar Circuit!!!!
