Sports Camp

SOCCER! Yea! I think i have seen Jack play enough soccer but this week at his camp was soccer again. We arrive just like Monday and this time the instructor was THERE! I was a little disappointed that he didn't personally apologize for his absence on Monday but we all moved on. After a walk down to the fields camp started. Jack and Wyatt became quick buddies. Probably because they are the only two there but hey, it could have been a girl. :) While Jack ran up and down the field kicking, scoring, and passing the rest of us admired the pool that sat atop the hill. It was kind of like the oasis in the desert. Ella occupied herself by doing round offs and cartwheels, John attempted to keep up with the big boys but resigned himself to playing with Ella or alone and Ben slept. Jack did fabulous though. Still not very aggressive but is getting better about finding the ball and running and kicking it at the same time. After 45 minutes of baking in the sun we had to go get dinner. Walking past the pool was torture. We are now upgrading to a family membership and will be playing in the pool after Jack's camps. :) Dinner and a bath and then to bed. It was a fun afternoon. I look forward to next week....BASKETBALL!
