As i go to get the kids dressed to go out I realize that my kids have grown significantly. Dang! Why can't they stay the same size???? Anyway, that leads me to the inevitable shopping trip. Just so happens I have a wonderful neighbor who told me about a kids consig
nment sale going on for a week. So, we went. It was my first consignment sale. I was impressed at the amount of good quality clothes available for a quarter of the price i would pay at the store. Well, i did pick up a few good things and because the kids were so good i let them each pick out a few items for themselves. Jack picked out the basic boy stuff...John 
Deere hat and Lightning McQueen pajamas. Ella, however was another story. Ella picked out some pajamas (I hope they are pajamas because she isn't wearing them out) and a lovely jacket that looks like a dead purple chinchilla. I thought i would get away with the jacket being a "dress up" but that hasn't worked so far. Maybe she is just a little more fashion forward than me.

I love the purple jacket. It is just beautiful. I think you should wear it every where. It is great to see the kids. I loved the pumpkins.
